Justin Timberlake Futuresex - Lovesounds Pop Music CD Review

Futuresex - Lovesounds is the latest release from Pop Superstar Justin Timberlake, and I can only think of one word to describe this CD... AWESOME!

It's a rare day indeed that I get a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I'm more than happy to announce that's exactly what I must say about this one. There simply isn't a bad one in the bunch. No fillers here at all, with each song standing tall on it's own.

Futuresex - Lovesounds is a pleasantly varied, mix of 12 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly gifted artist. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are agender own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They're all here.

If you're even mildly into Pop music you'll enjoy this album. Overall Futuresex - Lovesounds is an a great release. I give it my double thumbs up. You will not be disappointed with one single track.

While this entire album is really very good some of my favorites are track 6 - What Goes Around, track 3 - Summer Love, and track 12 - All Over Again

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 10 - Until The End Of Time. This is a great track!

Justin Timberlake - Renaissance Man

Whenever someone mentions Justin Timberlake one has to wonder if they are referring to Justin the singer, the actor, the clothing designer, the producer, the writer, the golfer or perhaps they are referring to Justin the philanthropist. Not too shabby for a former Mouseketeer.

So what does Justin do in his spare time? He is usually raising money for some of his favorite charities, especially the Shriner's Children's Hospitals. As a matter of fact he will be hosting an upcoming golf tournament to generate funds for this wonderful organization. In the past JT has been one of their biggest contributors, and continues to help out whenever his busy schedule allows.

Unlike many performers, Justin thrives just as gloriously backstage as he does standing behind the microphone. He has co-written songs with many of his peers and has produced some of pop's best music in recent years.

In case you haven't noticed Timberlake is the real deal. He is no "flash in the pan," no "one hit wonder." He is continuing to lay the groundwork for a career that will span decades. If you don't care for his music, then check out his movies, don't like the movies, support his charities. I can tell you this, whatever you do, you can count on hearing his name for a long, long time.

Justin attracted a lot of attention, especially the Superbowl incident wherein Justin, in part of his performance with Janet Jackson, tore off part of Janet's costume in cue to a line in the song. However, in the process, part of Jackson's breast showed, exposing the part to millions of viewers both present and at home. No doubt, the same attention would not be achieved if what viewers only saw was Justin Timberlake shirtless. Nevertheless, the two artists were banned from appearing with offering apologies for their actions. Justin Timberlake gave his apologies moments before receiving the 2004 Grammy awards for Best Pop Vocal Album for Justified and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Cry Me a River," along with the Best Rap/Song Collaboration for "Where is the Love" with The Black Eyed Peas.
